> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.drip.re/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Blackjack > A card game where players aim to achieve a hand value closest to 21 without exceeding it, competing against the dealer. *We strictly prohibit the usage of casino features if your Points can be purchased or sold for real-world value.* ### Start a Blackjack game To start a Blackjack game, go to the `🎲 Casino` channel and click the `Start` button. Now click `πŸƒNew Blackjack Table.` Once your table is started, a Discord thread will created and you will be mentioned in the thread. In this thread you will see the following message: Your game is ready! Invite your friends by mentioning them in the thread, or not, and enjoy! ### Join a Blackjack game To join an active Blackjack table, go to the `🎲 Casino` channel and click the `Start` button. If there are any active tables, they will be displayed there. Once you have found a table you want to join, click on the table to be listed in the table thread. Now click the `Join Game` button to join the table and wait for the game to be started by the **πŸ‘‘ Game Master**. ### Blackjack table settings The **πŸ‘‘ Game Master** can update some settings of the table, these are the options: * **πŸ’» Manage Players:** * **πŸ‘Ÿ Remove Player:** Kick a player from the game * **πŸ‘€ Manage Game Visibility:** * **πŸ™Œ Make Game Public:** Anyone can view and join the table * **πŸ”’ Make Game Private:** Only mentioned members can view and join the table ### Play a Blackjack game If you don't know the Texas Hold'em house rules, read them first before proceeding. You can find them [Blackjack House Rules](/drip-features/games/blackjack#blackjack-house-rules) To play a game, the [πŸ‘‘ Game Master](/drip-features/games/blackjack#keywords) needs to start the round by clicking the `πŸ‘‘Start Round` button. Once the game is started, it proceeds according to the[Rules](/drip-features/games/blackjack#rules). Players will have to choose in turn, if they take too long they will automatically stand their hand. ### Blackjack House Rules #### Rules 1. Players and the dealer are dealt two cards each; players can see one of the dealer's cards. 2. The goal is to have a hand value closest to 21 without going over. Face cards are worth 10, Aces are 1 or 11, and number cards are their face value. 3. Players can 'hit' to take additional cards or 'stand' to maintain their total. 4. If a player's total exceeds 21, they 'bust' and lose the round. 5. The dealer reveals the hidden card and must hit until their cards total 17 or higher. 6.
