# Give/Take Points

> Give/Take points from a member

This option allows you to give/take points from a member when they interact with it. If you click on the option, multiple options will be displayed:

* Give/Take Points -> Click on the option that applies

* Number of Points to give/take

* Time Restriction -> How frequent can they use the button

Once you submit the information, the embed is updated. When a member now presses the button, they will get the following response:

  Give/Take points is restricted to Administrators and users with the [Economy ](/admin-settings/admin-dashboard/admin-settings/admin-permissions)permission.
