# Give/Take Variable Points

> Give/Take a variable amount of points from a member

If you choose to add this option to a component, a form will be displayed for you to enter:

* **Points Amount Min Value:** The minimum amount of points that will be given/taken by the embed

* **Points Amount Max Value:** The maximum amount of points that will be given/taken by the embed

* **Add or Remove:** Choose whether the embed will give (add) or take (remove) variable amounts of points

Now, when a member presses this button they will get/lose an amount of points between the minimum and maximum values
